We cannot predict the weather nowadays. Sometimes we thought it’s going to rain today that’s why we equip ourselves with umbrella and other rainy-day protection gears and yet it will not.  Sometimes we thought it’s a sunny day and yet heavy rains pour while we’re caught without bringing any protection.  Sometimes it’s sunny in the morning and heavy rain comes during the afternoon. The end result of this is sickness. As we all know health is really wealth. Hospitals bills after being confined for just three days is like already …

President-elect Noynoy Aquino announced this afternoon his cabinet members. We know that it’s hard to satisfy everybody. But whoever they are, they have the biggest responsibility to do. Hopefully with them, the change that we ever wish for will come true. With those positions come their responsibility and accountability. It is like that they are now engaged to the people and their contemporary engagement presents are in the form of service. We hope that the betterment of people will be their only agenda to be able to give us the …

Those who ran as President in the last election are now starting to submit their list of campaign expenditures although it’s late submission. The Commission on Election (COMELEC) spokesperson thinks that some expenditure reports submitted by national candidates are “far less than what we saw.” Even voters can’t believe that one of the candidates just spent P431.55 million in spite of his advertisement on TV, radio, prints and even online.

COMELEC Resolution 8944 allows national candidates to spend P10 per registered voter. That’s a total of P510 million. …

The country witnessed the proclamation of the president apparent of the Philippines Simeon Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III the 15th President of the Republic. Filipinos are really hoping that the change that he promised during the campaign will really happen and can be felt in the next 1oo day of his presidency. There is nothing wrong with the national reconciliation but things must be address first. The corruptions and with all those anomalies done must be put into justice so that real closure will be achieved. We cannot move on if …

Many reacted especially the Catholic Church when the Secretary of Health Cabral issued statement that sex education must be started on kindergarten children. Maybe what the secretary means is about genders and not sexual acts. Although I am not against sex education as I think it must be included in the education curriculum, I think it should start in high school. Students must focus on the subject matter and not who will teach the subject.

Sex education teacher must be trained and supervised well and be the most respected teacher …

It is really irritating to see and hear those politicians who lost during the last elections complain about the election fraud that had happened. That’s why they lost. They just cant sleep well. You will already notice dark under eye circles because they just can’t accept the fact that their constituents did not vote for them. Now there’s complaining about the election fraud that had happened.

Others said they were offered by some people that if they will pay such amount they will win the election. In the first …

Why is it that everytime we have an election in the country, GDP is also growing? According to Dr. Victor Abola, director of the Strategic Business Economics Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific, the country’s economy has 7.3-percent growth, the highest first quarter growth in three decades. Money really comes out during election. Politicians really earn big to spend this much. No wonder after they got seated, our government always have deficit.

We hope and pray that the change that we ever dreamed of will come true especially with our new president. Let’s stop blaming. Instead help and support our new president so that the change that we want to happen will come into a reality. In my 35 years of participating in numerous elections already, I have not yet heard or know someone or any politician suspended or disqualified for having violated Commission on Elections rules. For me 99% of these politicians running have violations in some of the rules and regulation. Even those who claimed for change also violated. Almost all of them violated the common poster law. As you can see politicians’ posters are everywhere such as in walls, electric wires, trees, even the beauty of some public places are ruined …

Willie Revillames just demanded to ABS-CBS management to fire Jobert Sucaldito or he’ll resign. For me a live show is not a proper venue to make such requests to the management. I’m sure everybody has his own opinion but just because Jobert Sucaldito mentioned a bad opinion about your show or whatever you do in your show doesn’t give you the right to blow up like this. I think TV stations have policies where, you can fire somebody for certain reason and not just any reason. Did Sucaldito violate any …
