Rescue and recovery are now on going for more than a week after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti. It is believed that more than three million were affected which recorded more than 2,000,000 deaths. Although according to some reports, rescue and recovery are already halted in some buildings that had collapsed. It is believed that there are no lives already present. But still, recovery is still present in some areas.

More than a week after a 7.o magnitude earthquake that hit Port-au-Prince, the Capital of Haiti last January 12, 2010, there were more than 200,000 deaths already recorded. They were buried in a mass grave outside Port-au-Prince. Every time I watch or hear about fire incidents that happened, it reminds me of what had happened to our house in the year 1995. We were victim of great fire and the barangay where I once lived turned into ashes and left more than 300 families with no shelter.
