The branch of the government that monitors the three branches of the government is the Executive branch. This consists of the President and the Vice President, the legislative branch which is composed of the Senate and the Congress, and likewise the Judicial branch which headed by the Chief Justice and all of the Justices. It’s mandate is to investigate and prosecute any government official which will be found guilty of crimes, especially graft and corruption.

Many are clamoring about the present chair because they said those cases filed against the alleged graft and corruption cases was filed to the previous government official. Since she was a good friend and appointee of the previous president as well as the classmate of the first gentleman, many are doubting her capability to be fair to the case. But I believe we should wait and see first and give her a chance to really do her job. If not, I’m sure she knows the exit signs. If she will not resign anyway there is still chance to remove her by impeachment. The President cannot remove her since she has fixed term position.
