Many reacted especially the Catholic Church when the Secretary of Health Cabral issued statement that sex education must be started on kindergarten children. Maybe what the secretary means is about genders and not sexual acts. Although I am not against sex education as I think it must be included in the education curriculum, I think it should start in high school. Students must focus on the subject matter and not who will teach the subject.

Sex education teacher must be trained and supervised well and be the most respected teacher in the class. I even approve of religious sectors who are opposing this instead that of doing some protest. Why not make themselves available to do some observation during the class, so that teachers of this subject will also be lenient in teaching and will only tackle the subject accordingly and hopefully avoid some incorporation of extra words beyond the module of the subject. Instead, to educate the children for the better and harmonize their curiosity with self control.

Hopefully the Department of Education said sex education subject will be a success that after a year many of students are asking prenatal vitamin instead of asking baon from their parents.
