I noticed that my uncle who is only in his early 40’s is already using eye glasses when reading. My grand parents and my parents also have this kind of problem. I know that during their time there is no computers nor television set yet. Otherwise the TV was in black and white and I remember when I was a little tot we were scolded if we were watching near the TV but yet we still end up wearing glasses eventually.

It disturbed me because I remember my father and my grandfather always reminding me every time that they’d see me wearing their eyeglasses before that it is hard to live with eyeglasses and I should not even dream of wearing it someday even those discount prescription glasses. I am still lucky because until now I can still read the Bible verse even with a small amount of light and I can still manage to drive at night. Even though I do not take proper eye care since I take more than eight hours being in front of the computer and TV. I hope and pray that I will not really reach the time that I will also use one.
