Toyota Car Recall
Toyota pressroom announced last Feb 8, 2010 that it will undergo voluntary safety recall of approximately 133,000 units of Prius vehicles with 2010 Model Year and 14,500 units Lexus Division 2010 HS 250h vehicles to update software in the vehicle’s anti-lock brake system (ABS). No other Toyota, Lexus, or Scion vehicles are involved in this recall. According to Toyota Philippines over a radio interview, the Toyota vehicle assembled in that United States are affected not only those manufactures for units assembled here in Asia.
Even with some local complaints about the D4d engine vehicles, Toyota spoke person denied the allegations on vehicle problems. This is a major problem where the life of the motorist is at risk. This is not an ordinary problem in batteries, and other minor vehicle concerns. According to the one interviewed on TV, his Innova suddenly had an engine stop with all other things inside the cars such as stereo and other electricals. Hopefully this is true since I love Toyota and my dream pick up is Hilux which also using D4d engine. I hope its not just Toyota but all car manufacturers must consider motorist safety not just war in designs.
