COMELEC Implementing Rules

17 February 2010 3 views No Comment

Wherever you go right now, politicians’ banners and posters are all over and I don’t know if the COMELEC in their local and national branches are really doing their jobs to police possible violations? Or does its people need more testosterone booster so that they could perform their job well? In my 35 years of life where I had four presidential elections experienced and involved with local and even barangay elections, I never heard that anyone had been put to jail or even brought to court in the relation to this kind of election violation.

This is just a simple violation, putting banners and other campaign posters outside COMELEC posting designated area. This is a simple violation simple rule and yet how can politicians who wish to be a leader be a role model if they could not follow this simple rule? What more if they are already in power?  Hopefully the COMELEC will straighten up their power on this. Please show us that there is one candidate disqualified from running because of this.
