Haiti Death Toll

22 January 2010 1 views No Comment

More than a week after a 7.o magnitude earthquake that hit Port-au-Prince, the Capital of Haiti last January 12, 2010, there were more than 200,000 deaths already recorded. They were buried in a mass grave outside Port-au-Prince. Thousands of Haitians are still scattered around the capital with no home and still on panic after a few aftershocks still experienced in the affected area.

Although relief and help from other countries are starting to reach Haiti, food, water and temporary shelter addresses only the immediate need of the people. Maybe a motorhomes someday will be one of the most needed items as their temporary shelter.

Three million people are believed to be affected by this worst earthquake.
