Fire Incidents
Every time I watch or hear about fire incidents that happened, it reminds me of what had happened to our house in the year 1995. We were victim of great fire and the barangay where I once lived turned into ashes and left more than 300 families with no shelter.
Just like what happened recently in Bacolod City. Not only did it burn houses but killed 17 people. That’s why during the time and I was still working in the government, we conducted lectures about fire prevention and safety. I kept on emphasizing how it felt like to be a victim of fire.
It is said that is better to be a victim of burglary than fire. I know there are lots of causes why fire happens. What is important is that you consider yourself paranoid when it comes to fire to ensure safety. Check your house’s electrical lines, use of candle sconces when using them during brownout and avoid smoking inside the house.
After all, regrets often happens at the end.
