Boxer Dilemma

19 November 2009 4 views No Comment

Luckily that Filipino boxer ZC Oliveros “The Dream” Gorres is now stable after having been in critical condition since he has undergone emergency surgery due to a blood clot on the left side of his brain. After winning his fight against Colombian Luis Melendez at the Mandalay Bay Hotel on Saturday, it was said that the boxer’s surgeon, Dr. Michael Seiff, had to remove a part of his skull to relieve the swelling of his brain.

Sometimes people don’t know that in spite over the victories of a boxer there’s a problem that could go along with it. If you retire with money and are still in good shape, good health without AED, then well and good. We know that sometimes, the life of the boxer is at stake during or after a fight. Sometimes the result of this takes more than the amount one has won like what had happen Muhamad Ali and the Filipino boxer Navarete. There was also once another Filipino who died during a boxing match in other country.
