Another Typhoon will hit Central Luzon
According to weather bureau PAG-ASA, there will be another typhoon that will hit in Central Luzon. As of 4:00am on October 29, 2010 the center of Typhoon “SANTI” (MIRINAE) {0921} was located based on satellite and surface data at 1,080 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.2°N, 133.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is moving West at 26 kph. PAG-ASA already issued signal no.1 areas such as Isabela, Aurora, Norther Polillo Islands and Quezon. These places are still recovering from the previous Typhoons Pepeng and Lupit. Millions to even billions of pesos were incurred in damages from infrastructure and agriculture and with more than a hundred reported casualties.
The people are once again preparing for another typhoon that is expected to become a super typhoon, too. These places are frequently visited by typhoons. Hopefully the government will implement changes in agricultural products that are raised here. Examples are crops that can withstand typhoon and flood.
I am not sure if there are insurance companies that offer their service in these areas and those people asking for life insurance quotes include natural disasters like these to be covered in the insurance.
