Belgian Cuisine

We were so happy that we have been given a chance to visit The Kingdom of Belgium. This country is not only known for its historic architectural buildings design owing to its historic city centre as a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. It is also known for its beer, chocolates and cuisine.

If you happen to visit Belgium, you must bring with you your appetite suppressant since most of the foods I tried here were really great. For the information of many, highly ranked Belgian restaurants can be found in the most influential gastronomic guides such as the Michelin Guide. Belgians love waffles and fries that you could see a lot of waffles stores along the streets. “French fries” really originated in Belgium and not in France. French is the manner of how potatoes were cut. Steaks were all around since this is their national dish.

There is one street in Brussels which sells almost all of their famous brands and widely renowned chocolates. You could even try it for free before buying it. Instant foods and cold cuts were also great. My mother even told me that I really gain weight in this trip.

Make sure you always have extra money for them because for them it is already cheap but for us a burger from its fastfood chain of 5 Euro means almost 350 pesos which is really expensive for we only buy our jolly burger for 25- 100 pesos or only a quarter to one Euro.
