The annual Oscars is a prestigious award giving body in the United States and people around the world have always been waiting for this.

This year’s 81^st Academy Awards will be held in the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood with actor Hugh Jackman hosting the ceremony for the first time. This February 22, 2009 several categories will be given awards. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), a professional honorary organization is the one voting for who will be the winners of this awards.
