After the controversial news about the Alabang Boys, the alleged drug buy bust operation conduction by PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) resulted in the capture of the three suspected drug pushers. They are sons of well known families from plush villages in Alabang area. After the bribe story came out, it resulted to senate and congress investigation.

This case made the government pursue the long time drug prevention campaign which is to have a random drug testing to students in high school and colleges in the country. For me, it will only have an effect for the mean time because most of us know already what are the things to do to avoid to avoid positive results in our drug testing. I will not mention these things anymore but I know those who are guilty of using these kinds of prohibited drugs are now even searching from the internet some drug cleansing methods to avoid detection.

We know that fighting illegal drugs is the most difficult and dangerous one. Drug lords have all the resources to bribe people in authority and can even afford to kill someone that will block their way as illegal drugs are their business.

What if the government clean their rank first by simply addressing first those authority people, police men, politicians and those people from Justice who in any way or another have received bribe money and protecting the illegal drug business?

Hope this problem will be minimized and will stop in the long run. Drugs is mostly the main root of criminality in the society. Why not buy exercise equipment and get high on making your body healthy instead of on drugs?
